Kung Fu Panda Tamil Dubbed Movie HQ Download

Kung Fu Panda never bore the burden of heightened expectations. But its sequel, like all follow-ups to a giant success, is entitled to the probability of bigger and better. While its 3D stature, super smooth computer graphics and endless supply of flat out Wuxia takes care of the scale, is Kung Fu Panda 2 better than its predecessor?

Frankly, it doesn't matter because irrespective of what age, you're going to revel in the unstoppable madness, mayhem and melodrama of the coolest, cuddliest and chubbiest panda in the history of animation. Or at least DreamWorks.

Let's admit it, a sequel was always on the cards, it's an eventuality we all kind of hoped for. And so there's no reason to protest especially when the upshot is 95 minutes of pure awesomeness.

The first one involved a prophecy, discovery, training and redemption around a bumbling son of a goose, Po-the pleasantly overweight panda (Jack Black) and his fanboy zeal towards the Furious Five – Tigress (Angelina Jolie [ Images ]), Monkey (Jackie Chan [ Images ]), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu [ Images ]) and Crane (David Cross) mentored by the slightly aloof if well-meaning Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). The Panda's shock selection as Dragon Warrior compels Shifu to teach him the art of kung fu employing the most unorthodox technique and Po's greatest weakness -- food.

In the latest installment, Po's nemesis is again a power-hungry bloke aiming to take complete reigns of China. Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), like the previous bad guy -- Tai Lung, has a history of resentful adolescence giving in to the dark side after being denied absolute power.

Only Shen isn't a ferocious snow leopard or a blood-thirsty dragon but a rather sly, luxury-driven, class act Peacock with a sinfully disturbing quiver in his laugh (Oldman oozes crisp menace without succumbing to theatrical antics of a stereotypical villain), piercing gaze and hyper pyromaniac tendencies. He's also the man responsible for Po's suddenly Bruce Wayneish past.

Speaking of past, flashbacks are a subject of jaw-dropping visual magnificence and intricate artistry. An exquisite prologue relates an interface of finely cut-out figures to reveal Shen's back story whereas dramatic reds dominate the scene of Po's recurring nightmares. An experience all the more enriching on 3D, which lends every single scene a combination of refined subtext and precise emphasis.

It's interesting how as Po's story draws a new arc, decidedly emotional arc, the action-adventure, directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson (she worked as a Story Head on the first), blends the search for one's identity and quest to defeat evil into a unified objective.

As a consequence, Po finds fewer opportunities to demonstrate his goofy side. That would have been a deterrent for any other anthropomorphic character. Not Po. He's a rarity. Reliable as ever, Black stuffs his panda with yet another round of cheer, spunk and goodness.

The furry old bear's appetite for high jinks and heroic declarations that often result in rip-roaring embarrassment and chop-chop chases shows no sign of descent. For all his Dragon Warrior stardom, Po is still very much a fan boy who hasn't lost an ounce of awe and admiration for his idols-turned-accomplice.

And that's why it's a bit off-putting that the Furious Five, though practically in every frame, don't rise above generic sidekicks. Jolie's Tigress is a tad better off with some added talk time, which appears to validate her presence in the credits more than the role itself.

Kung Fu Panda's charm lies in the classic triumph of an underdog, a self-deprecating, humorous one at that. Kung Fu Panda 2 digs deeper, darker without compromising on its essence and effervescence to deliver a sleek, dazzling entertainer and confirm its utterly lovable hero's enduring popularity.

Vaanam Blue ray Tamil Movie Download

This short story genre which is new to Tamil cinema, manages to work well for the new age audience who likes everything in short doses. Almost all the stories are deftly told, with the mandatory twist in the climax which keeps you riveted.

Let’s take a look at the stories- Bharath (Bharath), an aspiring rock star sets out to give his first solo stage show on the New year eve in Chennai with his friends. They miss the flight and decide to drive down from Bangalore for the concert. How during the travel he changes his attitude and becomes a better person is shown in the climax.

Rahim (Prakash Raj) and wife Zara (Sonia Aggarwal) who lost their twins during the communal riots in Coimbatore is getting back to normal. The couple set out in search of Rahim’s brother who is now in Chennai. He is always suspected as a terrorist by a police officer (Ravi Prakash) who hates Muslims.

A poor, old weaver and his daughter-in-law Lakshmi (Saranya) in Tirunelveli owes money to a ruthless financier (Kathal Dandapani). When Lakshmi’s son a bright student at school is taken away by the financier as daily labourer, the illiterate people sets out to Chennai to sell kidney and procure money to get the boy and put him back at school.

Cable Raja (Silambarasan) is a happy-go-lucky lower-middle class guy who dreams of becoming rich by marrying wealthy girl is trying hard with his friends (Santhanam and VTV Ganesh) to cough up money to take his girlfriend Pooja (Jasmine) for a New Year bash at the five-star hotel in Chennai.

Saroja (Anushka) is a call girl who is under the control of Rani Amma who runs a brothel in Sulurupettai in TN –Andhra border. Saroja is in huge demand by rich and powerful in town and the smart girl decides to run away to Chennai and set up her own business. But fate intervenes and she falls into the hands of the local police and she is on the run.

Silambarasan delivers an incredible performance and his versatility comes to forte in the last one hour of the film. He is complemented perfectly by Santhanam and VTV Ganesh who brings the house down with their rib-tickling one-liners. Prakash Raj is simply outstanding with his subtlety and the little nuances while Sonia is charming. Anushka is outstanding as the commercial sex worker as she is able to bring out a life-like performance. All small characters in the film including Anushka’s personal makeup man who comes as a transgender is brilliant.

The film works due to Krish’s story and outstanding camerawork by Nirav Shah. He has used different lightings for each of the stories, which brings out the human element in the episodes. And the camera following the characters conscience in the climax justifies the story. Antony editing makes the narration crisp especially the way he criss-crosses between the parallel stories. Music of Yuvan is just ok, but it is the background score which keeps you hooked to the narration.

Though the film may not be a mass, formula masala entertainer, it is different within the commercial format. Director Krish and his team push the cinematic envelope and bring savvy freshness to Tamil cinema. For this alone he should be applauded.

Vaanam is worth investing on a movie ticket.

Verdict - Very Good

Rajapattai Tamil Movie Download

Vikram’s Rajapattai is colourful, stylish and it has good actions. Chiyaan, like before, attracts you with different avatars. In fact, it is treat to watch the Anniyan star in variety of getups. But the disappointing factor is that the story is not strong and it has turned out to be a yet another commercial potboiler, which was not expected from Susindran.

The maker of Rajapattai have not bothered about the story, as they have kept it very simple. Anal Murugan (Vikram) is a gym instructor, who desires to be an on-screen baddie at any cost. But the tale takes a different route after he accidentally meets Dakshina Murthy (K Vishwanath). In fact, the veteran’s son Chidambaram (Avinash) is chasing him to grab a land which would give him a political entry.

Chidambaram’s idea is simple. Give the land to powerful politician Sana (Ranganayaki) thereby getting a ticket to contest elections. As the fate has it, now Anal Murugan wants to save Dakshina Murthy from them. How and what he does form the crux of the film.

Out of 10, Vikram gets six marks. While he thrills the audience with his usual performance, he fails in comic scenes. In fact, one would wonder how the actor agreed the script, which is poorly written at parts. Deeksha Seth has not got enough opportunity to showcase her skills. However, K Vishwanath steals the show throughout the film with his acting and his abilities to evoke laughter.

Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is not up to the mark. His background score is good. But Rajeevan’s artwork and cinematography by Madhie are the standouts of Rajapattai. It is because of them, the movie looks colourful. Director Susindran should have concentrated more on the script, as the movie features Vikram. Rest other departments are okay.

Verdict: Rajapattai is an average movie, which would impress regular mass masala fans.

Mouna guru movie free download

Directed by Santha Kumar
Produced by M. K. Thamizharasu
Starring Arulnithi, Iniya, John Vijay, Uma Riyaz Khan, Krishnamurthy, Sujatha
Music by Thaman

Mouna Guru is a Tamil Movie in which Vamsam fame Arulnidhi plays the lead role and the movie is directed by Shanthakumar. Mouna Guru' has an off beat theme with all commercial elements thrown in.More and more cliched Masala from the A-league actors and very few films manage to come up with brilliant stories in hand and indeed showcased their adeptness. Say for instance, ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’, ‘Ali Baba’, ‘Aaranya Kaandam’, etc, etc… were more off that genres. These films didn’t perform well, but were standouts as taut thrillers.First 10minutes into the film, the howls and comments for not so famous league of actors is blurred. Yes! An accident followed by group of cops looting a big money. A girl with unknown identity makes a video recording of their plans through the camera, which in turn falls into the hands of another man. Unexpectedly Karunakaran (Arulnidhi), a calm student is linked to the mysterious proceedings and what unfolds next is a racy drama of combats between the characters.t cannot be meant that Arulnidhi has done a remarkable job, but has done what is exactly required for the role. Usually, his style of rendering dialogues stand ahead as a little minus. Over here, he remains calm throughout many portions and of course spells the best with the action sequences. Iniya looks gaudy with her makeovers. John Vijay far-famed for his ability to perform comical or villainous roles does his best here with the latter one. Though Uma Riyaaz was capable of performing such powerful roles, she hasn’t been offered such ones till the dateWhat starts on a thrilling note proceeds with the same tempo till the end, but spare for few slow and sluggish moments that could have been trimmed in second hour.
Technically, the cinematography brings some best visuals and Thamman adds a depth of intensity with his background score.
Overall, it’s a worth watching movie for the pennies you pay. Don’t go for references looking out for similar tales in Hollywood or international cinemas. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the flick

With Mambattiyan Prashanth-Thiagarajan duo is back on screen after the colorful Ponnar Shankar! For those of you not updated on the movie, Mambattiyan is the remake of the 80s blockbuster Malaiyur Mambattiyan that starred his father Thiagarajan. After his bedazzling princely avatar in Ponnar Shankar, Prashanth is sporting a more macho get up in this Robin Hood style flick that has Meera Jasmine as the female lead.

Also on board are Prakashraj, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Mumaith Khan, making it the perfect mix for a Telugu version of the movie too. Mambattiyan is directed and produced by his father Thiagarajan and the songs have already topped the charts. For the first time he pairs up with Meera Jasmine, who reprises the role of Saritha in the original. Mumaith Khan plays the part played by Jayamalini. Mambattiyan is not just another remake, for the screenplay has been modified to attract today’s audiences; it is grander than the original and many desires that remained unfulfilled while making the original have been realized in this remake.

Greedy landlord Periya Panna (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is always opposed by Chinna Samy (Vijaya Kumar), who works in Periya Panna's farm. Irked by his behavior Priya Panna kills Chinna Samy and his wife. And now enter our hero Mambattiyan (Prashanth), Chinna Samy's elder son. Eventually he takes revenge and then decides to safeguard his village forever. A group of youngsters join him and they set their camp in a nearby forest, making Mambattiyan the local Robinhood. Now enter DIG Ranjith (Prakashraj), who takes up Mambattiyan's case. From there the cat and mouse game begins!

As Thiagarajan has always said, the film is definitely a visual extravaganza! The picturesque locales are a treat for eyes. Cinematography has been given great importance in this remake and Shaji Kumar has taken care of it perfectly. Coming to the performances, it's Prashanth all the way! He is there in every single frame. Meera Jasmine and Mumaith Khan plays his love interest while Vadivelu, who is seen on screen after a longs time, fails to create any impact. Another important role in the film is Prakashraj, that of a police officer, and he fits the bill perfectly.

Thiagarajan, who has always tried his best to boost his son's career, has taken care of the story, screenplay, dialogues, production and direction of the film. Apart from that he has also rendered a song, 'Chinna Ponnu', perfectly.

Macho man Prashanth is back with a bang!
